New Features of Minecraft 1.3.1/1.3.2

Minecraft version 1.3.1/1.3.2 was a HUGE update, which was probably why it took so long. Below is a photo of the updates. Long list, huh?

The new LAN feature is incredible. It allows players connected to the same router to play with you, no 'Minecraft Server.exe' needed. They also added an in-game cheat feature, which is supposedly similar to SPC (SinglePlayerCommands), which I think is almost nothing like it. Sure, it has commands, but very, very limited. SPC has around a hundred plus. Mojang also changed the default gravel texture, which was a positive improvement. At last, gravel doesn't look so ugly.
Another addition is the 'tripwire.' Tripwire is Redstone powered. When walked over, it powers a certain something, i.e. a door or a dispenser. One MAJOR addition to the new version is that temples and pyramids were added. Temples spawn in jungles (not all jungles), while pyramids spawn in deserts (not all deserts). A new version of the NPC village was added. This new one spawns in deserts and looks like an exact replica of the first one, except this is made of sandstone.
Trading with villagers were also added. Trading requires that you get an emerald, which I think are a little too hard to find. Ender chests provide easy, portable transportation of items. Writeable books were added, which goes incredibly well (in my opinion) with adventure maps. Building stairs and logs, etc. were slightly changed. Sideways logs were added. It is now easier to build upside down stairs now. This can sometimes be frustrating. But then again, this update was decent. Good job, Mojang.
